What should be my first outing when guests arrive in Tucson?

This question is one of many that newcomers to the Old Pueblo ask us.  Typically new residents or visitors want to see or showcase what makes Tucson unique.

We tend to have a couple of favorites to suggest!  The first one is the tried and true Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum on the West side of town.  If you are here during the “Raptor Free Flight Program” season, that immersion event is a must-see! Check out details at www.desertmuseum.org.

Next, close by to the Desert Museum is Old Tucson Studios, which is a renowned fill set built in 1939.  Hundreds of classic western films and tv shows were filmed here!

Speaking of Old West, if you’d like a “taste” of some mesquite grilled cowboy steaks with a fun atmosphere, look no further than Pinnacle Peak Steakhouse on the East side of town.  Warning! Don’t wear your favorite necktie here…only locals and prior patrons know why. 😉

We’re ready to get started when you are!
